FULLERTON
The Fullerton School Board will discuss the district’s 12 modernization projects at a special meeting at 1:30 p.m. today. The projects include refurbishing carpet, installing air conditioning and rewiring and repainting schools more than 30 years old.
The sites under consideration are Acacia, Commonwealth, Fern Drive, Golden Hill, Orangethorpe, Pacific Drive, Raymond, Valencia Park and Woodcrest elementary schools, and Ladera Vista and Nicolas junior high schools. The trustees could take action at their regular meeting Tuesday.
The special meeting is open to the public and will be held at the Fullerton Hunt Branch Library, 201 S. Basque Ave. The regular board meeting will be at 7 p.m. at the District Headquarters, 1401 W. Valencia Drive. Information: (714) 447-7400.
