Outrage Over Beating of an Elephant
Shouldn’t a wild animal park be for wild animals? I found the “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” philosophy espoused by members of the San Diego Zoological Assn. and the San Diego Wild Animal Park very alarming, to say the least.
Roocroft et al sound way too aggressive to me. Some training might be called for.
Thank you for your article reminding me that man is not so civilized after all.
