Charges Expected Today in Woman’s Slaying

The Riverside County district attorney is expected to file a murder charge today against a Riverside man suspected in the slaying of a 23-year-old woman whose badly burned body was found Dec. 14 in California Citrus State Historical Park.
Benjamin Matthew Medina, 29, could be charged with murder in the death of Krisana Leann French. Medina has been in Riverside County Jail since late December. In January, he was charged with five counts of attempted murder for threatening to pour gasoline inside the home of his longtime girlfriend.
