Man Arrested in Beating Death of Girlfriend

A man was arrested Friday on suspicion of beating his live-in girlfriend to death during an argument at a motel, police said.
Abraham Guajardo, 34, of Buena Park was being held at the Orange County Jail.
Officials said Guajardo’s family led police to a room at the Townhouse Motel in the 7400 block of Orangethorpe Avenue about 2 a.m. Friday where they found the body of Mary Barajas, 32, of Buena Park.
Guajardo was later arrested without incident, according to officials.
