Woman Found Fatally Stabbed in Mall Lot
From Times Staff and Wire Reports
A woman died late Thursday after being found stabbed in the Brea Mall parking lot.
Police released no name but described her as in her 20s.
“We recovered a knife at the scene,” Jack Conklin, a Brea police spokesman, said of the 9 p.m. discovery in the southeast corner of the lot near the intersection of State College Boulevard and Imperial Highway.
Police responding to a call found the woman unconscious and bleeding, Conklin said. She was taken to St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, where she died a short time later, he said.
