Schiavo Autopsy Ends a Sad Tale of Conflict
Re “Schiavo Was Beyond Saving, Autopsy Finds,” June 16: Terri Schiavo’s condition has now been confirmed. Looks like all the doctors who examined her were correct. Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist (R-Tenn.) and his right-wing cohorts were not. And, sadly, neither was her family.
She could not see them, as they professed; she could not take oral nourishment, as they contended; and she would not get better with therapy, as they had hoped. This sad family tale can now come to an end, and she can rest in peace.
