Man Says He Got Shot on Freeway
A man who drove himself to the hospital with a bullet wound to his chest told police he was shot Saturday morning on the San Diego Freeway .
Inglewood Police Sgt. Jose A. Fernandez said the man, in his early 20s, said he was shot about 5 a.m. by four men in a blue minivan as he drove north on the freeway near Manchester Boulevard.
The victim, whom Fernandez declined to identify, drove himself to Centinela Freeman Regional Medical Center, where he was treated and released.
Fernandez said the shooting is under investigation, and there is “no information to tell us it’s gang-related.”
