Officers’ Trial Date Set in Assault Case

A judge has set April 28 as the trial date for former Inglewood Police Officer Jeremy J. Morse, charged with assaulting a teenager during a videotaped arrest, and Officer Bijan Darvish, accused of falsifying a report on the incident.
After the July 6 arrest, the two were indicted on charges of assault under color of law and filing a false police report.
