Panel participants: Jose Torres, an organ recipient; Doug Bouldin, a family nurse practitioner from Troy, Mo.; Betty Dizik, a Medicare recipient; Evelynn Alvarado, a mother trying to get health insurance for her children; Dawn Anna and Carole Price, who lost children to gun violence; Jodie Gaines Johnson, a sexual assault victim; Dennis and Judy Shepard, whose son Matthew was killed in an anti-homosexual attack; and Renee Mullis, whose father was murdered.
