Residents will see a 2.3% increase for trash pickup on their next monthly bill, according to Dave Ault, executive director of Taormina Industries, which handles disposal for the city. Ault said the increase will be 34 cents, raising the rate to $14.96 per month. He said Taormina raises its fees annually to account for cost-of-living increases. The new fee took effect July 1.
