* La Palma Avenue: A caller in the 7200 block reported at 4:49 p.m. Wednesday losing a woman’s five-row, three-carat diamond ring.

COSTA MESA

* Fullerton Avenue at Buoy Street: A stereo and speakers worth $455 were stolen from a vehicle April 11; in a second incident on the same day, a stereo, amplifier, speakers and cash worth $560 were stolen from a vehicle.

CYPRESS

* Vinalhaven Court: Report of a residential burglary in the 11:35 a.m. April 12.

DANA POINT

* Calle Carmelita: A robbery alarm in the 34000 block was triggered at 4:52 p.m. Tuesday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Bushard Avenue: A stereo and CD-ROMs were stolen from a student’s car in the Fountain Valley High School parking lot; reported at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday.

FULLERTON

* North Harbor Boulevard: Report of a commercial burglary in the 4200 block at 1:37 a.m. April 12. Somebody broke into nine storage units.

GARDEN GROVE

* Harbor at Garden Grove Boulevard: Police arrested a 35-year-old Anaheim man on suspicion of being under the influence of narcotics at 3:43 a.m. Saturday. He also had violated his parole.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* El Arroyo Drive at Newland Street: A 26-year-old motorcyclist from Fountain Valley died about 5:40 p.m. Saturday after crashing into a light pole and sign while performing a high-speed wheelie. The cyclist was wearing a helmet, and there was no evidence he was under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

IRVINE

* Park Place: An IBM Think Pad was reported stolen from an unlocked conference room at a business at 11:57 p.m. Wednesday.

LAGUNA BEACH

* Forest Avenue: A store owner reported $60 worth of clothing stolen in the 200 block at 2:02 p.m. Wednesday.

LAGUNA HILLS

* Solano Court: Jewelry and silverware were stolen after burglars entered through an open kitchen window in the 24000 block at 12:15 a.m. Thursday.

* West La Habra Boulevard: Report of a man drunk in public in the 100 block at 2:11 a.m. April 12.

LAKE FOREST

* Raintree Lane at El Toro Road: A motorcyclist was fatally injured at 11:45 a.m. Saturday in a collision with a truck making a left turn onto El Toro Road. Paramedics tried to treat the man, but he died at the scene.

* El Pescador Lane: Juveniles driving in the 8200 block at 2:57 a.m. April 12 reportedly threw eggs at a residence. The incident was initially reported as a loud party because the homeowners came out to yell at the youths.

* Katella Avenue: A business near Walker Street reported the suspected embezzlement of more than $4,000 by an employee at 10:54 a.m. Tuesday.

MISSION VIEJO

* Marguerite Parkway: A prowler was reported in the 28000 block at 1:59 a.m. Tuesday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Jamboree Road: A man lost his wallet at the Harbor Justice Center in the 4000 block after paying a traffic ticket April 12.

* Main Street: A 54-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving at 2:49 a.m. April 11.
