C-SPAN Bus Arriving in Town a Year Early
The C-SPAN school bus, a mobile production studio that teaches schoolchildren about television and the network’s public-affairs programming, will roll into the Conejo Valley on Tuesday.
The 45-foot motor coach is on a tour of California. A last-minute cancellation is bringing it to Westlake Village nearly a year earlier than previously planned.
The bus will be parked from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at TCI of Ventura County’s Community Programming Studio at 30901 Agoura Road in Westlake Village, half a mile west of Reyes Adobe Road.
For those who cannot attend in person, a live, televised tour of the bus begins at 10 a.m. on TCI channel 63 (36-B in western Camarillo).
While the bus is on the road, C-SPAN televises on-air updates, short programs from historic sites and selected public-affairs events from local communities along the tour.
