Cooper Completes Universal Transaction
The Cooper Cos. said it completed the sale of its remaining psychiatric services businesses to Universal Health Services Inc. for $27 million. Universal may pay up to $3 million more if the Hospital Group of America properties meet certain contingencies, Irvine-based Cooper said. The transaction completes Cooper’s move to focus on the medical device market.
