FOUNTAIN VALLEY
The Neighborhood Improvement and Community Enhancement program has a new leader and could start as early as next month, planning manager Andy Perea said. Perea declined to identify the person who has been named to head the program, which is designed to help residents whose homes are deteriorating by allowing them to use city-owned supplies and trash bins to make improvements. The program also will make available paint vouchers and loans with no- or low-interest rates for further improvements. Information: (714) 593-4425.
