* Gilbert Street at Ball Road: Report of an abandoned vehicle at 10:10 p.m. March 30.

BREA

* Brea Mall: Report of a petty theft at 11:06 a.m. Monday.

BUENA PARK

* Stanton Avenue: A caller in the 6900 block reported at 7:18 a.m. Monday that someone had stolen gardening tools.

COSTA MESA

* El Camino Avenue: A mountain bike worth $173 was stolen from a home in the 1000 block between noon and 7:30 p.m. March 31.

* Placentia Avenue: Police received a report of indecent exposure in the 2500 block Sunday but no arrests were made.

CYPRESS

* Valley View Street: Report of a vehicle burglary at Cypress College in the 9900 block at 3:53 p.m. March 30.

DANA POINT

* La Cresta Drive: A robbery alarm in the 24000 block was triggered at 9:23 p.m. March 30.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* LoLo Circle: Two brothers were arrested Thursday in the 16900 block in connection with the March 24 armed robbery and kidnapping of two Huntington Beach women. Police said the brothers stole jewelry and cash at gunpoint.

FULLERTON

* West Valencia Drive: Report of an attempted residential burglary in the 400 block at 2:10 a.m. March 31. A glass bottle was thrown through a window, but no perpetrator was seen.

* East Yorba Linda Boulevard: A woman was arrested on suspicion of grand theft at a Mervyn’s department store in the 3200 block March 30.

GARDEN GROVE

* Trask Avenue at Harbor Boulevard: A woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence at 4:45 p.m. Saturday after police said she passed out behind the wheel, let off on her brake pedal, rolled through a light and ultimately hit three cars. No one was injured, and the woman drove off. Those who cars were hit notified authorities.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Larchwood Drive: Three young skateboarders reportedly were refusing to leave an area and were standing and yelling at passing cars in the 6300 block at 4:57 p.m. March 30.

IRVINE

* Parkview Lane: A burglar entered a residence through an unlocked front door and stole a purse containing $7, a checkbook and ATM card in the 3600 block; reported at 4:48 p.m. Monday.

* Alton Parkway: A burglar smashed a front door window and stole $15 in coins from a restaurant in the 13700 block at 10:39 p.m. Monday.

LAGUNA BEACH

* Laguna Canyon Road at El Toro Road: A driver in a dark Volkswagen Jetta allegedly rolled down his car window and pointed a gun at another person at 7:32 a.m. Sunday. Police were unable to locate the man.

LAGUNA HILLS

* Cabot Road: Three phone utility boxes worth about $2,400 were stolen in the 25300 block between 7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Monday.

LAGUNA NIGUEL

* Camino Capistrano: A person was arrested after reportedly assaulting a friend over money in the 28700 block at 4:45 p.m. Saturday.

* Los Alamitos Boulevard: A shopkeeper reported that a male teenager stole a 12-pack of Budweiser from a store near Catalina Street and then drove off in a waiting Toyota at 9:10 p.m. Sunday.

* Coral Place: Property worth an estimated $1,500 was stolen from a home in the 1900 block Friday.

* 34th Street: Report of a prowler in the 300 block Saturday.

* Newport Boulevard: A person was arrested Sunday on suspicion of using a false ID.

ORANGE

* North Blackburn Drive: A resident reported that a garage had been burglarized in the 2700 block at 9:38 a.m. Saturday.

PLACENTIA

* North Placentia Avenue: Report of a forgery in the 1800 block at 4:07 p.m. Sunday. Two people were arrested on suspicion of passing a forged prescription at Longs Drug store; one suspect had overdosed on a pain killer and was transported to Placentia Linda Community Hospital.

* South Rose Drive: Report of a residential burglary in the 200 block at 8:56 p.m. Sunday; a door was forced open and a leather briefcase was stolen.

* South Jefferson Street: A rear license plate--5H14352--was reported stolen in the 300 block at 10:41 p.m. Sunday.

SAN CLEMENTE

* Avenida Rosa: A robbery alarm in the 200 block was triggered at 8:43 a.m. March 30.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO

* Calle Arroyo: A robbery alarm in the 27000 block was triggered at 11:25 a.m. March 30.

SANTA ANA

* North Fairview Street: Police arrested a 24-year-old Garden Grove man on suspicion of carrying a concealed weapon in the 1500 block at 9 p.m. Friday.

* South Main Street: Two people were arrested on suspicion of trying to steal a car in the 3100 block at 3:30 a.m. Friday.

* East Chestnut Avenue: Three people were arrested on suspicion of trespassing on railroad crossing property in the 1100 block at 12:40 p.m. Friday.

SEAL BEACH

* Ocean Avenue: A hot-pink Schwinn bicycle valued at $100 was reported stolen from a carport at 11:10 p.m. Friday.

STANTON

* Katella Avenue: Report of a suspicious vehicle in the 7000 block at 10:32 p.m. March 30.

TUSTIN

* Tustin East Drive: A 27-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of possessing marijuana in the 13800 block at 2:23 a.m. Sunday.

* Tustin Grove Drive: A woman, concerned that a neighbor’s dog would jump over the fence and bite her children, called the police, who calmed the barking dog; reported in the 1200 block at 10:39 a.m. Sunday.

VILLA PARK
