Man’s Body Identified; Police Investigate Death
Authorities on Friday released the identity of a 26-year-old Gardena man whose body was found in a trash container in Downey.
He was identified as Kay Roby. He was found Thursday morning in a dumpster in a carport on Emily Lane, according to a Los Angeles County coroner’s office spokesman.
Detectives are awaiting the results of an autopsy. Roby’s death is being investigated as a homicide.
