Repaving Expected to Delay Commuters
Beginning Monday, commuters traveling along Oxnard Boulevard between Wooley and Gonzales roads will experience some delays due to a Caltrans repaving project.
Lanes will be partially closed at various locations while the $400,000 improvements are finished. The work is expected to take two weeks.
Work is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday during the first week, but may be extended into the night if traffic is too heavy during the day. The work is expected to resume the second week from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Friday.
Message boards have been installed at each end of the project to announce the lane closures.
