LAKE FOREST
The Planning Commission will receive a progress report tonight on development of the Foothill Ranch Master Planned Community, part of the 1,502 acres of commercial/industrial property annexed by the city last month. The annexation was opposed by residents from Foothill Ranch and Portola Hills who hoped to use the property as the financial base for a new city.
