Some motorcycle enthusiasts are so true to two wheels that they are loath to rent a car when traveling from state to state.

Enter the Di Blasi--a collapsible Italian motorcycle that folds into a 5-cubic-foot package that can be checked as baggage at the airport.

Street legal, the folding motorbike gets 100 miles per tank, making it cheaper than a rental car. Still, it’s slower than a horse. The Di Blasi maxes out at 30 mph and can be even more sluggish, depending on the passenger.

A hog it is not, but if you’re a real big biker (the spec sheet says it accommodates 320 pounds), the Di Blasi doubles as a low rider.
