Alliance Imaging Has 3rd-Quarter Loss; El Pollo Loco Revenue Up 28%

Alliance Imaging Inc., an Orange provider of magnetic resonance imaging services, said that it lost $1.4 million, or 20 cents a share, for the third quarter, compared with a net loss of $12.7 million, or $1.79 a share, for the 1993 first quarter. Revenue fell to $14.2 million from $15.8 million. For the nine-month period, a net loss of $3.5 million, or 50 cents a share, was recorded, compared with a net loss of $13.5 million, or $1.89 a share, in the prior year. Revenue declined to $42.9 million from $46.3 million. The 1993 third quarter and nine month results include restructuring charges of $12.7 million primarily related to a write-down of certain older equipment.
