NEWPORT BEACH : Traffic Study to Be Discussed at Meeting
Traffic officials from Newport Beach and Costa Mesa will hold a meeting tonight to discuss a traffic study that addresses concerns of residents in the area bounded by Newport Boulevard, 19th Street, Dover Drive and West Coast Highway.
The yearlong study, conducted by traffic engineers in both cities, was prompted by residents concerned about the volume and speed of traffic through the neighborhoods of Newport Heights and east Costa Mesa. The placement of speed bumps and stop signs will be the main topic of discussion.
The public meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at Newport Heights Elementary School, 300 E. 15th St., Newport Beach.
