La Canada Flintridge : Transportation Survey
The City Council voted unanimously Monday to prepare a needs assessment survey on how best to use more than $1 million in Proposition A and C funds to improve transportation and to hire a consultant in the matter.
Among the options available are the upgrading of or increase in service to already-existing programs such as Dial-A-Ride and the Summer Beach Bus. The city could also use funds to improve bus stops or begin either a Foothill Boulevard or citywide shuttle.
Available money includes $689,275 in Prop. A funds and $320,050 from Prop. C.
A resolution is expected at the City Council’s first meeting in January, City Manager Gabrielle Pryor said.
