President-Elect Bill Clinton
As President-elect, Bill Clinton has said, “We’re all in this together, and we will rise or fall together.” Let’s give him a chance. He’ll have a Democratic Congress to work with and the opportunity to create and implement legislation to bring about the renewal of government institutions and the healing of this nation’s unsettled social and economic wounds.
Let’s hope, for the sake of America, that the new President-elect will concentrate on productive fulfillment of his campaign promises and not waste a single day blaming the Bush and Reagan administrations for the difficult times ahead of us.
