President-Elect Bill Clinton
What this election clearly demonstrates is that the middle class, regardless of ethnicity, shares common issues and desires. The Democratic campaign by Clinton et al., made race and divisiveness a non-issue. Instead the campaign established a common ground, one on which we must build for the future. Middle-class Americans have much at stake in the future years ahead.
Hats off to the Democrats! They have done their homework and outlined a plan and direction for our country, and have given the American people respect and, most of all, hope.
