PAT’S FIRST: In the post-election spirit, the Richard Nixon Library & Birthplace will present a collection of reproductions of formal First Ladies gowns. They’re based on originals at the Smithsonian. Library spokesman Kevin Cartwright calls the gowns “breathtaking.” And if you haven’t guessed, he has a favorite: Pat Nixon’s. The display runs through April 18. . . . The library has planned monthly speaking events about presidents’ wives. First speaker: Julie Nixon Eisenhower, Nov. 23.
