Woman Killed on Lake Elizabeth Road
A Lake Elizabeth woman died early Sunday after she lost control of her car on a windy road and it plummeted down a 30-foot canyon, the Los Angeles County Fire Department said.
Janeane Young, 30, died of head injuries in the 3:15 a.m. accident in the 11000 block of Elizabeth Lake Road in a remote hilly area near the Antelope Valley, the Los Angeles County coroner’s office said.
“The driver was found dead on arrival,” fire dispatcher Heidi Gomez said.
