5 Arrested After Second Night of Disturbances Near UC Berkeley

BERKELEY — Telegraph Avenue merchants spent Sunday cleaning up broken glass after a second night of minor rioting near UC Berkeley, officials said.
Five people were arrested Saturday night after vandals moved onto the campus and broke windows at the university bookstore and student union, according to a Berkeley police dispatcher.
It was unclear what sparked the violence, police said.
