2 Police Cars Collide During Chase
SANTA ANA — Three police officers suffered minor injuries Saturday when their two squad cars collided while pursuing a man who was later arrested on suspicion of possession of stolen property and evading arrest.
Sgt. Brian Collins said the officers were chasing a vehicle near Bristol Street and McFadden Avenue when their cars crashed. He said the officers, who were not identified, were treated at the Sunrise Medical Group in Orange for whiplash and other minor injuries before they were released.
Collins said one of the police cars was totaled and the other heavily damaged.
The driver of the vehicle being chased, identified as Albert Louis Biscotti, 41, was arrested by officers in another police unit shortly after the crash.
