SDSU Cutbacks
I would like to express my regret to all San Diego State University students for the poor treatment you are receiving from the state university system. The lack of leadership being shown at both the administrative and faculty levels has been disappointing to us all.
One point you should be made aware of is that difficult times (budget reductions and layoffs) are not new to the real (non-academic) world.
San Diego State University students, you are a consumer of the university’s services. If the administration and professors are focusing on their own needs first rather than yours, it is time to teach them an economic lesson. Either they place the consumers’ interest at a premium level or you will transfer your “consumer demand” to another school.
