Encouraging Lawbreakers
You seem to think it’s a good idea to publish pictures of the law being broken, first a man pushing a child down a city street in a market shopping cart--a very costly baby carriage--then a picture of a pit bull, no less--in a public park with no collar or leash.
Why not go to the on-ramp of the Ventura Freeway at Topanga Canyon Boulevard and publish pictures of the transients living there with bedrolls and trash and stolen shopping carts? Maybe you can encourage a few more people to break the law.
I have been a subscriber to The Times for almost 43 years, and I would never give it up. It’s still the best paper of any place I have traveled in the United States.
