ANGELES NATIONAL FOREST : Fire Danger Prompts Closure of 2 Roads, Trail
Citing extreme fire danger, rangers have closed two roads and a trail in the Angeles National Forest until further notice, a forest service spokeswoman said Thursday.
The closure will be in effect at least through the Labor Day weekend, said Denise Rains, a public affairs officer for the U.S. Forest Service’s Angeles National Forest.
Glendora Mountain Road and Glendora Ridge Road--in the Mt. Baldy Ranger District--were closed, along with the Rincon Redbox Trail, which is often used by off-road vehicles and people seeking access to hunting areas.
