Sweet Innocence
The article, “Trash Industry Faithful Friend of O.C. Officials” (March 30), was read with a great deal of interest, especially the quote attributed to Harriett M. Wieder: “I don’t see any problem. . . . I think we’ve done a very good job in keeping the industry clean here. The contributions haven’t made any difference.”
I betcha Hattie believes in Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy and the innocence of youth. . . .
