Woman Returns to Find Boyfriend Shot to Death
A woman returning home from visiting friends found her boyfriend shot to death in the Hawaiian Gardens apartment they shared, authorities said Wednesday.
The woman, whose name was not released, returned to the apartment in the 21900 block of South Belshire Avenue about 9:45 p.m. Tuesday, Sheriff’s Deputy Roger Hom said. The woman found her boyfriend lying dead in the apartment, Hom said. The 33-year-old man had been shot, he said.
Detectives had not established a motive for the killing and no arrests had been made. The dead man’s name was withheld until relatives could be notified.
