San Diego police have arrested a 16-year-old in the shooting death of an 18-year-old East San Diego man Tuesday night, police said.
Police said the youth was taken to Juvenile Hall on suspicion of manslaughter Wednesday.
The shooting occurred about 7:56 p.m. Tuesday. Police answered a shooting call and found paramedics administering cardiopulmonary resuscitation to Christopher Guerra in the bedroom of the apartment where he lived in the 4100 block of 37th Street, said Bill Robinson spokesman for San Diego police.
Guerra was taken to Mercy Hospital, where he died at 9:55 p.m.
