Suzuki Joins Car-Making Venture in Hungary: The Japanese car maker Suzuki Motor Corp. signed an agreement to proceed with a joint venture with Hungarian interests to build cars in Hungary. The deal would be Hungary’s largest joint venture project to date. Suzuki and Hungary’s Autokonszern Inc. would each have a 40% stake in the new venture, Magyar Suzuki Co.
