Santa Ana Girl, 3, Killed in Traffic Accident
A 3-year-old Santa Ana girl was killed about 6:30 p.m. Saturday when she was struck by a car near her home, police said.
Police said the girl, Virginia Vasquez, darted in front of a car heading east in the 3000 block of West Elder Avenue. Virginia was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
The driver, a 22-year-old woman, was neither cited or detained, police said.
