Dan Quayle Bashing
You press people simply refuse to lie down and die on the Quayle victory as indicated in your article on the front page. I remember from childhood the saying, “The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about.” When the majority of the nation voted for the Bush-Quayle ticket, voters knew about everything there was to know about Quayle--even the color of his golf socks. And they overwhelmingly accepted him. Why can’t you? Let’s stop this Quayle hunting and go after some of those Democratic turkeys in the House and Senate.
