Dan Quayle Bashing
Your article on the continuing scorn being heaped on Quayle stops just short of advocating the early resignation by the newly elected (or “coat-tailed”) vice president. You stopped too short. The American people do not want Quayle standing in the wings. I am sure the majority, Republicans and Democrats alike, would breathe a sigh of relief if he found other matters that needed attending to and stepped down for personal reasons.
