History: Established as a resort in 1905, the unincorporated community of Sunset Beach was developed during the real estate boom that followed the discovery of oil in nearby Seal Beach and Huntington Beach. The town’s own oil field was discovered in 1954.
Access: From street ends between Anderson Street and Warner Avenue.
