Gunfire erupted at a bowling alley in College Grove on Wednesday night during an argument between two groups of bowlers, San Diego police reported. Three people were injured, none seriously.
Police said the incident at the Grove Bowl on College Grove Way occurred about 11:45 p.m. Wednesday, when two groups of people on adjacent lanes began arguing.
One group opened fire with an unknown number of weapons, adding that the shooting continued outside the bowling alley, with as many as 15 rounds of ammunition fired.
Three people--who were not identified--were taken by ambulance to area hospitals with minor injuries. The gunmen fled before police arrived, and there were no arrests.
