Local News in Brief : Santa Ana : Goodwill’s Doll Fair to Be Held Saturday
Hundreds of collectible, antique and refurbished dolls will be displayed and sold Saturday at Goodwill Industries’ 22nd annual Doll Fair in Santa Ana.
The doll sale begins at 9 a.m. in the store next to Goodwill headquarters at 410 N. Fairview St.
The queen of the Doll Fair and her court--the creators of the best refurbished dolls--will be honored beginning at 11 a.m. in the main facility.
Each girl who participates in the doll fair has designed and sewed an original outfit. Many of the girls are Girl Scouts who are earning badges through this project.
The refurbished dolls will be donated to the children of Olive Crest Treatment Centers, an agency providing service to children removed from abusive homes.
