Deukmejian and Election Results
George Bush said that Dukakis’ positions on the issues were out of step with the thinking of most Americans. The same can be said of our own governor.
According to the election results, the governor is out of step with most Californians. Here are only a few of the more glaring examples:
He supported Proposition 102 which failed. He opposed Propositions 97, 98, 99, and 103, all of which passed.
1990 will be the year in which Californians elect a new governor whose positions on the issues agree with theirs.
