Deukmejian and Election Results
For the first time, I agree with the governor when he said, “And pretty soon, maybe we won’t need to have a Legislature and a governor anymore. . . .” That is the point! We pay enormous sums for the governor and his minions and the Legislature and its retinue. A very expensive form of welfare, indeed.
