Election Night Projections
I am very upset with the news media--TV, radio, but most of all TV news. I voted late (7:55 p.m.) on Election Day. It took me about 5 minutes to get home and turn on the TV set. They were already saying that Bush was the next President of the U.S.! My vote had not even cooled in the collection box! I’m sure that everyone on the West Coast feels the same--that our votes didn’t matter, that the East Coast and Midwest decide who our President will be, and we have no say in the matter! If this is the case, I guess it doesn’t matter if I vote or not.
