NATIONAL ELECTION RETURNS : State-by-State Election Reports of Key Races and Issues : Colorado
DENVER — George Bush, bolstered by his son Neil’s high profile as a Denver oilman and by Colorado’s solidly Republican voting history in presidential races, rolled to victory in the state.

Bush took 54% of the vote to lock up Colorado’s eight electoral votes.
