Haircut Shop Robbed in Huntington Beach
An armed robber escaped Wednesday afternoon with $164 after holding up a haircut shop and ordering employees and patrons to lie on the floor, police reported.
The incident occurred at about noon Wednesday at the Supercuts shop at 16789 Beach Blvd., police said.
Officers said a lone gunman entered and made everyone in the store lie on the floor. The gunman then ordered the cashier to give him all the money in the cash register, which he seized and then fled on foot.
No one was hurt, officers said.
