Hawaiian Gardens Clean-up Gets Funds
HAWAIIAN GARDENS — The City Council has allocated grant funds for the second phase of the Hawaiian Gardens Neighborhood Clean-up program, which includes providing residents with free trash-bin service to remove trash and debris from individual residential properties. Under the program guidelines, residents living south of Carson Street may contact the city to request the service. A free bin is placed on the private property and the owner fills the bin at the rate of one per day, with a maximum of five bins per property. Interested persons may call City Hall at (213) 420-2641, Ext. 203.
