1 Killed, 15 Hurt in Alpine Bridge Collapse

CHAMONIX, France — An Alpine bridge collapsed Wednesday, killing one person and injuring at least 15 who fell between a glacier and a mountainside, officials said.
About 25 to 30 people were believed to have been on the 70-foot-long wooden bridge when it collapsed late Wednesday afternoon, according to the Haute Savoie regional government.
