Walnut : College Transfers Assured

Mt. San Antonio College has established a policy guaranteeing that its graduates with associate of arts degrees will be able to transfer to one of the 19 California State University campuses. Gilbert Dominguez, dean of instructional services, said the college is a year ahead of a statewide program that will set new curriculum standards for two-year colleges. Dominguez said the transfer guarantee program began last year with a review of the college’s 2,000 credit classes and required some changes to meet requirements for a bachelor’s degree program.
