Funds for Abortions
Title X of the Public Health Service Act was enacted in 1970 to provide family planning to young and low-income persons. Timing and spacing of births is directly related to the health of mothers and children, and the availability of all options to low-income women can be instrumental in preventing or eliminating poverty and dependency.
I can’t seem to recall President Reagan receiving even an honorary degree in medicine. What gives him the wisdom or the right to determine what information should be dispensed to enable individuals to make medical decisions affecting the entirety of their lives?
Title X funding must continue to provide all reproductive options so that all women are able to make safe, personal and appropriate choices.
